About Sydney

I didn't plan to become a balloon artist — I stumbled into it. During COVID, like a lot of people, I had time to stop and think. I didn't have a grand career vision, but I knew one thing: I loved making things with my hands. Drawing, painting, sewing, crochet, baking, gardening — on the surface they look unrelated, but the common thread was always small, meticulous, creative work.

When I discovered balloon styling, everything clicked. It combined artistry, design, color theory, spatial thinking, and the joy of creating something beautiful for someone else. I signed up immediately — not as a side hustle, but as a life choice.

Balloons by Sydney exists because I refused to shrink into a career that felt small or controlled by burnout and other people's expectations. This business is my proof that you can build something beautiful, profitable, and meaningful on your own terms.

What sets my work apart? I treat every installation like a design project. I think about mood, texture, scale, and how it'll look on camera. I source materials intentionally. I handle everything — the mockup, the logistics, the setup, and the breakdown — so you can actually enjoy the day you planned.

I'm not a balloon vendor. I'm a balloon stylist. And there's a difference.
